Throughout my professional career, corporate finance has been my primary focus. While it did provide financial stability and the opportunity to forge wonderful relationships, deep down, I found myself feeling rather unhappy.  Sitting in an office all day stressing over numbers was not where I wanted to be.  Since I was a little girl, I have always loved pretty things.  So much so that when I saw an item in a store with exceptionally pretty packaging, I would buy it regardless of what the product was.

 As I grew older, this love of pretty things became an obsession with creating beautiful things.  I spent most of my adult life making crafty items in a quest to find the “thing” that would satisfy my artistic desires.  I became very bored very quickly and moved on to something else every time. 

I stumbled upon an advertisement for a silversmithing program at a nearby college, and though I had my doubts at first, something inside me urged me to give it a shot. With just a few classes under my belt, it became crystal clear that this was the missing piece I had been desperately seeking all along.
